The event was attended by over 60 organisations and individuals interested in over 50s issues. The workshop was chaired by Liz Barclay, BBC Radio 4 Presenter of You and Yours and was addressed by a number of influential speakers. The participants discussed the key issues in a break-out session and gained consensus on a list of 20-30 recommendations that need to be taken forward to achieve change. These recommendations will be published in the workshop report in late April/early May and will be sent to key policy makers.
